It is such an honor and pleasure for me to be back at Yale, especially on the occasion of the 300th anniversary. I have had so many memories of my time here, and as Nick was speaking I thought about how I ended up at Yale Law School. And it tells a little bit about how much progress we’ve made.

What I think most about when I think of Yale is not just the politically charged atmosphere and not even just the superb legal education that I received. It was at Yale that I began work that has been at the core of what I have cared about ever since. I began working with New Haven legal services representing children. And I studied child development, abuse and neglect at the Yale New Haven Hospital and the Child Study Center. I was lucky enough to receive a civil rights internship with Marian Wright Edelman at the Children’s Defense Fund, where I went to work after I graduated. Those experiences fueled in me a passion to work for the benefit of children, particularly the most vulnerable.

When I was thinking about running for the United States Senate-which was such an enormous decision to make, one I never could have dreamed that I would have been making when I was here on campus-I visited a school in New York City and I met a young woman, who was a star athlete.

I was there because of Billy Jean King promoting an HBO special about women in sports called “Dare to compete.” It was about Title IX and how we finally, thanks to government action, provided opportunities to girls and women in sports.

So, dare to compete, yes, but maybe even more difficult, dare to care. Dare to care about people who need our help to succeed and fulfill their own lives. There are so many out there and sometimes all it takes is the simplest of gestures or helping hands and many of you understand that already. I know that the numbers of graduates in the last 20 years have worked in community organizations, have tutored, have committed themselves to religious activities.

Community service and religious involvement being up. But if you look at the area of voting among 18 to 29 year olds, the numbers tell a far more troubling tale. Many of you I know believe that service and community volunteerism is a better way of solving the issues facing our country than political engagement, because you believe-choose one of the following multiples or choose them all-government either can’t understand or won’t make the right choices because of political pressures, inefficiency, incompetence or big money influence.

Well, I admit there is enough truth in that critique to justify feeling disconnected and alienated. But at bottom, that’s a personal cop-out and a national peril. Political conditions maximize the conditions for individual opportunity and responsibility as well as community. Americorps and the Peace Corps exist because of political decisions. Our air, water, land and food will be clean and safe because of political choices. Our ability to cure disease or log onto the Internet have been advanced because of politically determined investments. Ethnic cleansing in Kosovo ended because of political leadership. Your parents and grandparents traveled here by means of government built and subsidized transportation systems. Many used GI Bills or government loans, as I did, to attend college.

Now, I could, as you might guess, go on and on, but the point is to remind us all that government is us and each generation has to stake its claim. And, as stakeholders, you will have to decide whether or not to make the choice to participate. It is hard and it is, bringing change in a democracy, particularly now. There’s so much about our modern times that conspire to lower our sights, to weaken our vision-as individuals and communities and even nations.

It is not the vast conspiracy you may have heard about; rather it’s a silent conspiracy of cynicism and indifference and alienation that we see every day, in our popular culture and in our prodigious consumerism.

And I leave these graduates with the same message I hope to leave with my graduate. Dare to compete. Dare to care. Dare to dream. Dare to love. Practice the art of making possible. And no matter what happens, even if you hear shouts behind, keep going.

1、顺手关水龙头

洗手擦肥皂时，要关上水龙头。不要开着水龙头用长流水洗碗或洗衣服。看见漏水的水龙头一定要赶紧拧紧它。

2、一水多用

尽量使用二次水。例如，淘米或洗菜的第一遍水可以浇花;洗脸、洗衣后的水可以留下来擦地，冲厕所等，多淋浴，少盆浴。

3、少用洗洁精

大部分洗涤剂是化学产品，会污染水源。洗餐具时如果油腻过多，可先将残余的油腻倒掉，再用热面汤或热肥皂水等清洗，有重油污的厨房用具也可以用苏打加热水来清洗，这样就不会让污水过多地排入下水道了。

4、不要让电器长时间处于待机状态

离开房间时，关上电灯并且拔掉电视机、音响、计算机等电器的插头，因为处于待机状态的电器也要耗电，如每台彩电待机状态耗电约1.2瓦/小时。

5、尽量少开空调

12、少用一次性餐具

外出就餐时，自备筷子和勺子，少用快餐盒、纸杯等，尤其要少用一次快筷子。一次性筷子是日本人发明的。日本的森林覆盖率高达65%，但他们的一次性筷子全靠进口，我国的森林覆盖率不到14%，却是出口一次性筷子的大国。

14、充分利用白纸，尽量使用再生纸

由于我国人口素质还不够高，对生态系统缺乏认识、不了解自然规律，近年来，我国的自然环境和生态平衡已经遭到严重的破坏。比如为取暖、做饭、盖房子大量破坏森林，进而造成水土流失、河道淤塞、洪水泛滥，由于城市无力供应干净能源，直接烧煤、烧柴造成空气污染，工厂用煤发电、没有对二氧化硫进行回收，造成空气中弥漫一氧化碳、二氧化硫粉末，出现酸雨损坏庄稼和建筑物的现象，由于城市垃圾、工厂废水来不及处理直接放入河道，使空气、水中及陆地上的生物受害造成生态不平衡，影响气候、影响人类健康生活条件，虽说我们国家地大物博，可是人均占有量占世界前列，这就要求我们对环境要做出适当的保护，我们即将跨入21世纪的大门，担当起主人的重任，我们能眼见着环境污染被破坏、而等闲视之吗?不，决不能，这就要求我们必须对环境做出适当的保护。

我们可以从身边一点一滴的小事做起，比如多植树造林，这就可以从根本上防止水土流失，爱护周围一草一木，不捕猎小动物等。但这些光凭我们的努力还不够，还要号召我们身边的每一个人为保护环境而做出贡献。

其实，母亲的要求不高，只需我们这样做：

二、遵从三员、四不、原则：

1、当好领导的咨询员、作为房地产行业的一员，应该有义务同时也有责任为领导做好市场调查，积极掌握同行业的相关信息，收集当地其他同行的经营情况(包括经营方式和经营优势),调查当地开发商的开发能力和信誉度,同时完善自家的经营队伍。

我于__年5月份进入配送中心工作，在配送中心一部工作期间，作为一名新员工，我不断的向上级领导和各位老员工学习出库复核业务技能。第一个月的时侯，我复核的差异是全组最高的，但复核工作量是最低的，当时，真的想不干了。领导发现这个情况后，立即找我做了思想工作，他们对我讲解了复核工作的重要性和一些技能要领，对我影响最重要的是一句话是：“做工作对自己要狠一点才会做出好的成绩”。从那时起，我每天加班加点的工作，直到转正。这个时侯，我才发现：这就是我们每天晨会上喊的口号“追求卓越，只争朝夕”。古人说：“业精于勤，荒之于嬉”，这才是我们工作所要追求的精髓——莫问辛劳有多少，耕耘自有新收获。

搬到新的仓库后，我不断的学习组长日常工作流程，学习处理各种小组内的一些事情，差异处理流程等。后来，被任命为食品复核组副组长。说实在的，那时，因为我对整个组的一些情况还不是很清楚，对于副组长这个角色也是感到很陌生，对于整个组整体日常工作到人员都不是很了解，还没有真正的进入角色，因此，那个时侯也没感到太大的工作压力，也就没有学到太多的东西。

从三楼搬到平面库后的这段时间里，我学到很多的东西，因为这个时侯，整个食品复核组的一切工作都要我自己处理了，比如班务安排、差异处理、规范操作、人员管理等一系列的工作，虽然我们组人员很少，但是出库复核流程还是一样的。那个时侯因为刚搬下来，很多的事情还没有理顺，以至于出现了人员不稳定，差异有上升的这些趋势。当时，我真的感到了很大的压力。在上级领导的指导和帮助下，我们的工作终于走上了正轨。差异明显下降，员工的思想也趋于稳定。

今年三月底，我们配送中心的组织架构发生了很大的变化，我们食品库经历了从商品到人员不同程度的变动，这些是同公司以及物流中心发展趋势是一致的，我们健之佳物流中心的规模越来越大，人数越来越多，各部门及人员分工越来越明细化、各种规章制度健全化等各方面的发展，带来了整个配送中心的发展，同时也给我们组和我个人在各方面带来了进步。通过各种规章制度的不断出台、健全，使我们的工作真正的走上了标准化的台阶。在这一年的时间里，我觉得我们组的各位同事和我个人都学到了更多的知识。同时也出了很多的问题。由于运输部的司机回来后就把空箱下到主楼集货组，因此我们的周转箱不够用了，后来，经过我们与运输部进行了沟通协调后，每天早班出去的车辆回来后就让一辆大车和一辆小车来我们这里下空箱。还出现了一个很明显的问题，就是门店上报的以“件”为单位的下货差异出现了很多，这个时侯也是我学习的最好的时侯，我学着处理这些差异，当时还是感到很吃力，在上级领导的指导和帮助下，我终于发现了一些规律，所以后来处理这些差异的时侯也是得心应手了。

刚从主楼搬到平面库的时侯，我们组的规范操作做的不是很好，经过上级领导的指导下，全组同事齐心协力，每天多做一点，多想一点，把我们的规范操作纳入日常工作来进行，现在已经成了一种习惯。大家都会观注每个人复核区域内的规范，比如卫生，整洁之类的。在各种表格填写方面，我们也做了不少的工作，每天下班前都会提醒大家把相关的表格填写完成后，做好下班前的交接工作。

在新员工的带教方面，我们采取的是理论联系实的施教与指导，就如李文涛一样，他刚来的时侯，我们对他讲解了出库复核工作要领和复核装箱标准，但是还是出现了许多的差异。我们继续对他进行帮助和指导，我们给他提的建议是多学、多练，而且以我以前的工作情况作为例子讲给他听。不久后，他的各种差异少了，工作效率也提高了，而且对于复核组的各种流程也很快熟悉了，整个组的工作质量和工作效率也大副度提高了。

在人员的培养方面，我们也做了大量的工作，我们组实行的是轮流带班，在带班前，对于每一个员工都进行工作流程和各种事项的培训，让全组每个人都来感受和学习组长日常工作流程和内容，使大家共同进步，让全组每一个成员都能提高团队意识和集体荣誉感、责任感。

对于现在我参与竞聘的主理助理这个岗位而言，我有优势也有劣势。现在就我们平面库整体的工作而言，我们在处理以“件”为单位的差异方面做的还不是很到位，特别是现在平面库与运输部的交接方面以及门店上报的数量差异和质量差异的处理方面还存在一些欠缺。对于以上这些方面，在这一年的工作中，我也总结了不少的经验：对于门店上报的以“件”为单位的差异，分析其原因：主要有以下几个方面：店名写错、字迹不清晰、集错货、司机下错货、门店报错等。对于这些差异的处理，我觉得我还是有我自己的见解，我基本上能够处理好这些差异。我的劣势是：对商品储存的一些事项还不是很了解，这是我以后工作中需要着重去学习的方面。

以上这些是我工作两年以来学到一些东西，我认为，我们作为一名领导，首先要理解领导的含义，领导就是率领和训导，就是要有模范带头作用。而且，领导要有团队意识，要帮助下属一起进步，这样才能实现整个团队的共同进步。所以说，对于一个团队的领导者来说，如果要取得好的成绩，就需要在指定好可行的.目标之后，要自己身体力行，多做一些模范性、标杆性的事情，还要多花时间在团队员工的培养和培训上，让大家最终都能成为“领导”。

It may be also carefully carved by knife into wonderful statues. Everyone at school, including our schoolmates, controls this knife.

If I have a chance to live to be an old woman, I shall, in my peaceful dreams, seek the old paths leading through the trees which I used to travel down in my earlier days. The old bell tower, standing in the golden sunlight, makes a slow, solemn1 sound as girls pour into the church like a stream. There they will kneel, pray and whisper to their spiritual Lord about the little things in their lives. What I feel when I hear these words depends on whether I have done anything meaningful over the years. If I have been successful, I will smile with pride and contentment, for I have taken a part, though a very small part, in carving out, with the knife of time, this wonderful model of school life.

Finally, and this is the hardest step, you need to focus your mind on your work. The actual work requires constructing the stairs. You may find that you’ve worked really hard for days, weeks or even months, and then suddenly find that your stairs are not going to line up with your pie. So you need to make sure that you still have money to buy new materials and rebuild your stairs in the right direction.

With proper planning and careful pacing, you will be able to reach your pie. Your pie is right there, right above you. All you need to do is get it.

a lady called lucy emigrated to united states several years ago.her spoken english is not that fluent .and one day,she is just sitting on the couch with his u.s friends mandy watchingsit a noise of bump had the attention of mandy,which led her to go out of the house trying to figure out what had happened.can you imagine that mandy go straight out with merely a sweater.so lucy shouted at her,lucy ,turn your clothes on. what suprised her most,beyond her wildest imagination, is that almost all the male in this country took their head out of the window.admittedly,lucy made a mistake here .the word spitted means mandy is totally naked to the reason that male looked out of the window.the right sentence shall be,put your clothing on.the story inspires you to take a careful look on the vast difference between eastern and western culture.

today i say to you my friends that even though i must face the difficulties of yesterday ,today and tomorrow .i still have a dream .it is a dream deeply rooted in my soul.

i have a dream that one day ,i can run,jump and pitch just like i used to be.

i have a dream that one day , i can go back to my dream sports and join the national team.

The second story happened at my first year in university. These two stories happened during my growth process, from which I got my understanding of dreams. My classmates answer let me know a real dream is not just about being a great man, or doing a great job, its about what you really want to be, and are willing to try every effort to pursue it.
