我今天演讲的题目是“知荣辱学做人”。

在刚刚结束的～上，代表们关于社会道德的讨论中，使用频率的四个字就是“八荣八耻”。

“八荣八耻”提出后，引起了各界代表的广泛关注。十几天来，各行各业的人们都在热烈地谈论着这个话题。大家的共识是，提出关于“八荣八耻”的讲话，对引导全社会遵守基本的道德规范，为我们特别是青少年树立正确的世界观、人生观、价值观提供了一个准绳。它既是对中华民族传统道德的精辟概括，同时又赋予其鲜明的时代特征，将传统美德和时代精神的有机结合。“八荣八耻”简明扼要，通俗易懂，却又内涵丰富。通俗地说，荣辱观就是人们对“荣”与“辱”的根本看法。是由人的世界观、价值观和人生观所决定的。古人云：“无羞恶之心，非人也。”所以，明是非、知荣辱、辩美丑，乃人之所以为人的重要标准。清代思想家龚自珍说：“士皆知耻，则国家永无耻矣;士不知耻，为国之大耻。”可见，个体的荣辱、耻感，不只是人性的标志，还关乎民族和国家。因此，小至个人，大至整个民族、国家和社会，树立正确的荣辱观，都是十分重要的。

既然正确的荣辱观如此重要，我们就要理解其要义。

以热爱祖国为荣。人们在长期生活中形成的对世代养育自己的国家和民族所具有的一种深厚的感情，是中华民族的传统美德。中华民族几千年来历尽内忧外患，之所以今日仍能自立于世界民族之林并且不断发展、壮大，很重要的一个原因，就在于一代代志士仁人不懈奋斗，甚至为国献身，在于“苟利国家生死以，岂因祸福避趋之”的爱国精神和民族气节不断传承。自古以来，中华民族就把对祖国的忠、对民族的爱视为作人的根本与大节。那些热爱自己的祖国，为祖国和民族的利益立下丰功伟绩的人都会名垂青史，为世代所崇敬和歌颂。热爱祖国已载入《中华人民共和国宪法》，作为每个民族成员、每个公民应该具备的起码的公德和觉悟。具体说，就是每个民族成员从思想到言行，都要忠实于自己的国家、自己的民族、自己的人民;热爱祖国的山河、捍卫祖国的主权和领土完整，维护国家主权尊严;热爱祖国的人民，热爱中华民族的优良传统和优秀文化;热爱祖国的和平统一，维护各民族的大团结，反对民族～和破坏祖国统一的一切行为;热爱祖国的建设事业、关心国家的前途命运和繁荣昌盛，并为祖国的统一大业、四化建设贡献出自己的聪明才智直至生命。

以服务人民为荣。我们的祖辈和父辈在当年翻开《为人民服务》时，他们总有一份敬仰会在心中回荡。解放前，我们的先烈们为了共同的目标，抛头颅洒热血，建立了人民当家作主的新中国。他们是为人民而死，死得重于泰山，虽死犹生!新中国建立了50多年，接力棒到了我们青年一代手中时，为人民服务已不仅仅局限于献出生命，它已体现在我们工作生活的方方面面。从大处来讲：为人们服务应该是坚持党的方针政策，全面落实到自己的每一分钟，继承和发扬前辈的优良传统，发挥自己的特长，为社会主义事业添砖加瓦;从小处来讲：为人民服务是关心身边的每一个人，帮助需要帮助的人。时间在变，为人民服务的中心没有变;社会在发展，但是为人民服务的思想永远不应改变。

以崇尚科学为荣。这说明只有科学的东西才是最真实的、最正确的、最可靠的，也是尚的和最光荣的。以国家经济建设发展为例，不发展不行，发展慢了不行，发展太快了也不行，必须讲究科学的发展规律，坚持实事求是，从实际出发，量力而行。国家国民经济建设发展如此，每一个人也当如此，应成为全民族的一个共同的思想理念。_同志曾指出：“群众是真正的英雄。”我以为，青少年也是群众之一员。青少年的科学观就体现在敬重学业的过程中。

以辛勤劳动为荣。劳动光荣、劳动创造人类、劳动创造财富、劳动创造幸福的道理。这指出了一个问题两个方面的道理。其一，无论从事什么工作，凡辛勤劳动者都是光荣的，都应当受到大家和社会的尊重;无论是谁，任何轻视劳动、蔑视劳动、贪图享受、不尊重辛勤劳动的人，都是错误的，都是可耻的，都应当受到大家的批评和指责。同时还向人们指出了这样一个道理：不仅辛勤劳动者光荣，而且珍惜辛勤劳动者的成果，尊重辛勤劳动者的成果，也是光荣的。任何不珍惜和不尊重辛勤劳动者的劳动和成果的行为，都是极为可耻的，同样也应当受到大家和社会的谴责的。

以团结互助为荣。“团结就是力量”这一道理是用于任何一个团体，一个民族，一个国家，一个社会。团结是全面全员全方位的问题，事关你我，事关国家，事关大局，事关前途和发展，事关每一个人的命运和荣辱。搞好团结，人人有份，人人有利，人人有责，而且必须从互助做起。光讲团结，不讲互助，搞不好真正的团结;不讲互助，缺少互助，不能互助，就没有团结可言。团结是力量，团结是目标，团结是方向，互助是基础，互助是前提，互助是动力。

以诚实守信为荣。诚信是什么?农民说，诚信是秋天里结出的丰硕果实;老师说，诚信是师生间白玉般纯洁的感情;工人说，诚信是辛勤劳作下生产出质高价优的产品。简而言之,诚信是个人的立身之本，民族的存亡之根。翻开我们中华民族五千年的文明史，会发现，以诚实守信为做人根本的故事比比皆是。以史为鉴，诚信是我们立身、修德、处事的根本，是社会文明程度的标志。诚信对于一个人很重要，对于一个国家则更为重要。“人而无信，不知其可也”。一个不讲诚信的个人是社会的危险品，而一个不讲诚信的民族则这个国家的悲哀。

以遵纪守法为荣。随着社会的发展，法律的作用愈来愈重要，与人们生产生活的关系愈来愈密切。中学生应该懂法。只有学法懂法，才能树立民主法治观念，明确公民的权利与义务，才能依法办事，依法维护自身权益，成为适应社会发展需要的合格公民。中学生应该遵纪守法，养成良好的行为规范和道德修养。遵纪守法，既是对他～益的尊重，也是对自己权益的保护，二者是一致的，增强依法办事的自觉性，把遵纪守法视为自己的基本义务，视为尊重社会公德的具体表现。

以艰苦奋斗为荣。艰苦奋斗是中华民族的传统美德，中华民族具有悠久的历史和文明史。千百年来，在改造社会的斗争中，勤劳勇敢的中国人民创造和发扬了艰苦奋斗精神。艰苦奋斗是劳动人民不畏艰难困苦，勇于与大自然斗争的精神状态和行为品质，它体现在政治、经济、文化和思想各个领域，反映了人们的世界观、价值观和人生观。我国古代传说中的“精卫填海”、“愚公移山”、“大禹治水”都是生动表现中华民族艰苦奋斗精神的典故。发扬艰苦奋斗精神，要树立艰苦朴素，勤俭办事的观念。对于青少年学生来说，尤其要树立正确的劳动观念，培养勤俭节约的好品德，杜绝不良的消费习惯。

总之，荣辱观是中华民族自古以来就有的优良美德，是中华民族的思想珍宝。“八荣八耻”的概括，从爱国主义到团结友爱，从遵守法律到崇尚道德，从热爱科学到勤劳诚信，既有对光荣传统继承和巩固的要求，也有对现代文明创造和发展的要求;既有对中国文明的秉承，也有对世界文明的吸纳;既有对不文明行为的摒弃要求，更有对文明行为的遵守要求。它着眼当代中国发展的全局，面向中华民族的未来，紧密联系当前社会风气中存在的突出问题，汲取了我国传统荣辱观的精华，具有很强的民族性、时代性和实践性。

同学们，什么样的事情是光荣的，有脸面的，什么事情是不光荣的，丢人的，这也许是我们懂事时起就不断思考的问题。中国有句俗话：叫人有脸，树有皮。也就是说做人要讲脸面，脸面问题实际上就是做人的品格问题。我们要学校来读书，最根本的也是弄清楚这个问题。我们学校的校训是“敦品励学”，“敦品励学”语出清学者梁章鉅《归田琐记?谢古梅先生》。他把敦品励学作为评价具有儒者风范、高尚品格的人。1909年，时任衢郡中学堂监督的汪张黻先生，题写“敦品励学”匾额悬挂于学堂门口，作为办学宗旨，“敦品励学”遂成为我校校训。作为校训，他时刻敦促我们要致力于自身品德修养,发奋学习的高尚境界。81届校友赠给学校的文化石上刻有文天详的砚铭：“砚虽非铁难磨穿。心虽非石如其坚，守之弗失道自然。”这是古代儒者风范高尚境界的一大写照。

大家好!今天，我演讲的题目是《知荣明耻，培养一代新人》。

你是工人，就要努力学习知识技能，立足岗位，为推动产业的技术进步作出自己的一份贡献，积极投身到中华民族伟大复兴事业当中去，在社会主义建设中体现工人阶级的先进性，在爱岗敬业、无私奉献、辛勤劳动、团结互助、艰苦奋斗、为国争光中实现自己的人生价值。

你是农村党员干部，就要把创建和谐、生态、文明村作为顺应广大农民群众需求、为农民办实事做好事的“民心工程”，作为推动农村社会全局进步的“奔康工程”，作为营造农村良好投资创业环境的“形象工程”，作为更新农民的思想观念、变革生活方式的“素质工程”，作为立党为公、执政为民、造福于民的“德政工程”。帮助农民摒弃生活陋习，告别愚昧，走向文明，提高生活质量，逐步改变长期以来形成的随意丢垃圾、胡乱排污水的陋习，自觉维护公共环境卫生，走向人改造环境、环境改造人的良性互动。通过开展“爱国、守法、诚信、知礼”道德规范教育和“七无”(即无毒、无赌、无黄、无犯罪、无违反计生、无上访、无“刑事案件”)教育，举办农业技术培训、法律辅导班，教育引导农民跟上时代前进的步伐，逐步成为一代有理想、有道德、有文化、有纪律的社会主义新型农民，不断充实农民的精神文化生活，农民的生活情趣，形成村民沟通交流、团结友爱、守望相助、和谐融洽关系。

总之，“天下兴亡,匹夫有责”。“八荣八辱”的社会主义荣辱观是我们在全面建设小康社会、构建社会主义和谐社会的新征程中所应秉持的道德指南，关键在坚持与时俱进，核心在坚持党的先进性，本质在坚持执政为民。用社会主义荣辱观教育人、引导人、武装人,必须坚持以人为本与以德立人相结合，这不仅是公民自身修养的终身课题，而且是当前我们每一个人、每一个社会团体乃至整个社会责无旁贷的重大使命。我们要担起道德育人的重任，薪火相传，代有创新，从每个人、每一代人乃至历史长河中整个民族的兴衰着眼，深思熟虑，出谋划策，兴利除弊，在全社会奏响树立“八荣八耻”荣辱观、推动科学发展、实现科学发展“大合唱”，为推动整个社会的全面进步贡献我们的力量。

二、落实社会主义荣辱观要将专题教育活动与日常教学相结合

政治课的教学内容中有许多是体现“八荣八耻”荣辱观的，如“我国公民与国家的关系”、“树立科学世界观，反对各种迷信活动”、“坚持集体主义的价值取向”、“选择崇高的人生目标”、“树立正确的消费观”等内容。教师可以采取多种多样的教学方式，结合社会的实际、学生的实际进行荣辱观的专题教育活动。只要教育具有针对性、生动性，又是学生喜闻乐见的形式，是会受到学生的欢迎，从而达到良好的教育效果。

许多中学生在遇到一些重大事件时能够表现出一定的爱国热情，但是他们的热情通常只是表现在一种情绪上，而对“辛勤劳动”、“团结互助”、“诚实守信”既在认识上有很大的误区，又很少落实到行动中。因此，在日常教学过程中渗透荣辱观的教育就现得尤为重要，教学案例的选择、对具体事件客观公正的分析、对学生言行的正确评价等教育的渗透会让思想认识更深刻，对行动的落实会起到积极地作用。

三、坚持“三贴近”原则落实社会主义荣辱观

如何让社会主义荣辱观在德育课程上得到落实呢？举一个小例子：一位高三年级的学生曾经问我：“您让我们爱国，可是国家为我们做了什么呢？”，我利用教材“国家职能”的相关内容，选择了大量的有一定时效性的材料，说明国家如何对人民负责，并引导学生列举他们所知道的、感受到的事例，收到了很好的效果。

因此，德育课程落实荣辱观要坚持三贴近原则，即贴近实际、贴近生活、贴近未成年人的原则。只要以正确的荣辱观为指导，立足于学生现实的生活经验，着眼于学生的发展需求，贴近学生的认知方式，注重学生的体验和感受，德育课程的实效性就能突显出来。

四、落实社会主义荣辱观需要多元的评价标准

德育课程作为一门必修课程需要有合理的评价标准。无论对学生还是对教师，评价都不应该只是试卷的考试分数。不同的学校（尤其是高中年级）要结合自己的实际，采用多元的标准来评价德育课程的教学效果，让德育课程得到良性的发展。

最后，给家长提一点希望：荣辱观的教育需要家长的支持。曾经一位教师对我说，一位学生对教育他的老师说：你明年还想签合同吗？不想干了你就说话。也许这个案例太典型，但它却折射出我们社会中存在的一些问题，反映出我们的家长在教育孩子方面存在的问题。在教学过程中，我们发现一些家长对德育课程表现出不屑的态度，直接影响到学生的学习，影响到学生正确“三观”的形成。事实证明，家长的这种做法只能对孩子的健康发展起到消极的作用。希望家长在为孩子创造更好物质条件的同时，要加强对孩子思想道德方面的教育和引导。

i also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. so i often take part in activities concerning public welfare. i once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. we taught the kids there who could not afford school. while showing them how broad and how civilized the outer world is, i was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, their honesty and their purity. i couldn’t control my tears on the day when we left. the precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, future teachers.
